The first episode opens with the mysterious suicide of a high-school girl, chisa yomoda. chisa-chan was a classmate of lain iwakura, a quiet, 14-year-old high-school girl. one of the other girls in the class has been receiving e-mail messages from chisa-chan, and lain discovers she also has mail from chisa-chan. In the mail she explains lain that she just abandoned her flesh. she assures lain that she still is alive in the 'wired'. After getting a new 'navi' and adding a 'psyche' circuit, lain spends more and more time in the wired. It seems that Lain has at least 2 personalities, and lain's first personality is even changing.

PSP Shakugan no Shana
Sakai Yuuji, a high school student who expected his normal life to last forever, is dead. When he was on his way home he witnessed a shocking view as the world suddenly froze: people were engulfed by blue flames and a monster resembling a large doll swallowed them. Just as the monster prepared to consume Yuuji, a sword-wielding girl in black attire with flaming red eyes and hair that burns like embers saved him from the monster. The girl called herself a "Flame Haze" who hunts the "Guze no Tomogara", creatures from another world. As Yuuji noticed a blue flame in his chest, she called him a "Torch", a temporary replacement, saying that the "real" Yuuji's existence had already ended. Unfazed, Yuuji befriended the strange girl, named her "Shana", and joined her fight against Tomogara and other Flame Hazes.

PSP Trinity Blood
The series takes place in an indeterminate time in the future, 500 years after an apocalyptic war between all of Earth's nations destroyed civilization, when humanity has reestablished itself. In this future world, the Roman Catholic Church has become a major military power, whose goals include the protection of humanity against the vampiric Methuselahs, who war upon humankind (or "Terrans," as they call humans). The seat of power is the Vatican, an attractive place with traditional European architecture; it is likely the same Vatican city in the real world (albeit perhaps rebuilt following the previous war). The Methuselahs are themselves another major political and military force. Their capital of Byzantium (presumably built on the site of the real world's Byzantium, now Istanbul) appears as an elegant metropolis, surrounded by a field of particles which filters out UV radiation, thus protecting the Methuselah population.
Both sides in this conflict are in a barely-contained cold war against each other. The current countries use "lost technologies," remnants of advanced technology that survived the apocalyptic war. These include airships, missiles, computers, etc. Worth noting is a third great power, Albion; it is a future version of Britain, with Buckingham Palace clearly seen in a number of episodes, reigned over by a monarchy. It is characterized by its superior arsenal of lost technology and weapons, and a higher level of manufacturing ability than the Vatican.

Note: ichigo 100% was adapted into a 12-episode anime TV series by Madhouse. It aired across Japan on Animax and TV Asahi (13 episodes were created, 13th being the special). Each episode roughly covers two chapters from the manga, which makes each episode contain two scenarios or chapters. The timeframe that the anime spans is much shorter than that of the manga.

High School Girls chronicles the raunchy high school lives of main character Eriko Takahashi and friends Yuma Suzuki, Ayano Sato, Akari Kouda, Kyoko Himeji, and Ikue Ogawa ("The Moron's Group") as they attend all girls "mediocre princess school", Yamasaki Girls Academy Fuji High School (referred to as "Saki Girls" for short). The manga emphasizes that for the most part the stories come from Oshima's own real life experiences.

The Last Love Song on this Little Planet
The story begins with Shuji, a high school student in Hokkaido, walking up to an observatory and reminiscing about his girlfriend, Chise. He finds her exchange diaries that she purposefully left behind. The whole story is narrated by him through flashbacks while reading Chise's diary. Chise, a fellow student in his class, declares her love for Shuji at the beginning of the series. However, Chise is very shy and Shuji is insensitive. Neither know how to express their feelings very well, but they do indeed have feelings for each other.
One day, while Shuji is shopping in Sapporo, unknown bombers attack the city in broad daylight. He and his friends run for cover, but notice a fast and small flying object shoot down enemy bombers. Separated from his friends, Shuji wanders through the wreckage only to stumble upon Chise. She has metal wings and weapons apparently grafted onto her body. She tells him she has become the ultimate weapon, without her knowledge or consent. However, she is seen by the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF) as the last hope for defending Japan from imminent invasion by unknown foreign forces.

The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi is a story about a high-school freshman, Suzumiya Haruhi, and those who are caught up in her antics. On the first day of school, she introduced herself in a bizarre way.
“From East Middle School, Suzumiya Haruhi. I have no interest in ordinary humans. If there are any aliens, time travelers, sliders, or espers here.. come join me. That is all!”
Her classmates wondered whether she was serious or just kidding around. Kyon, a fellow freshman who sits in front of Haruhi, was interested in her because of her strange introduction. Little by little, he tried to talk to her, but Haruhi's answers would always be "Shut up!" "Moron!" "Be quiet!" "Who cares about that!?". However, as the days went by, Kyon becomes the first ever to talk normally with Haruhi and eventually inspired her to form the SOS Brigade which sole purpose is to find aliens, time travelers and espers, and have fun with them.

However, Ban and Ginji are not ordinary human beings. They each possess mysterious abilities which they use to carry out their many recovery missions. Ban's powers include the "Snakebite", a skill which gives his hands a grip of 200 kilograms-force, and the "Evil Eye" , an ability to induce minute-long hallucinations of Ban's choosing in whomever he makes direct eye contact with. Ginji, on the other hand, can generate enormous amounts of electrical energy in his body for tasks such as attacking opponents, or overloading electronic systems; this has earned him the moniker of "Lightning Lord".
Despite the simplicity of their job's description, Ban and Ginji's profession often places them into bizarre and dangerous situations in order to obtain the objects they must find...

Slash to be playable character in Guitar Hero III
Velvet Revolver and Guns and Roses fans out there will be thrilled to find out that SLASH will be a playable character in Activision and Neversoft's Guitar Hero III. The legendary guitar player went down to the Guitar Hero studios where he was placed in a motion capture suit to record his shredding,
The details on how to unlock him have already been revealed and it looks like its going to be pretty difficult to do. We'll start of with the easy part first, you need to complete all the songs in the game. After you've done that you have to go one-on-one with SLASH, and if you win, you get him as a playable character in the game. Take a minute to imagine trying to beat SLASH at shredding? Ok, that's how difficult it is.
Guitar Hero III is slated for release this year on the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, and the Wii. This is one game we'll definitely be picking up when it comes out. Keep checking back here for more updates.
